Biography

Dr. Rachael Ndung’u holds a PhD in Information Technology, specializing in machine learning, as well as an MSc in Information Systems and a BSc in IT (First Class Honors). She is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, data analytics, and business intelligence. Dr. Ndung’u has a keen interest in AI-driven projects, focusing on machine learning applications, business intelligence systems, and leveraging analytics for market access, especially in the agricultural sector. She currently serves as Chair of the Department of IT and is involved in various research and consultancy projects, including AI-driven market discovery, IoT solutions for agriculture, and augmented reality in agroecology training.
