Dr.Munyoki Nyamai

Biography

Dr. Munyoki Nyamai is a lecturer in Medical Laboratory Sciences with a strong background in histopathology and cytopathology. He holds a PhD and MSc in Histology and Cytology, and a BSc in Medical Laboratory Sciences. His academic and research interests focus on diagnostic cytopathology, particularly in cervical cancer screening and diagnosis.

He has published in peer-reviewed journals and contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for several journals, including the East African Medical Journal. He also serves on the editorial board of the KMTC–International Journal of Health Professions. Dr. Nyamai is actively involved in professional and community service.

He is a member of the Kitui Dons Association, a non-profit organization that provides policy advice and development support to Kitui County Government. He is also a career coach, family counsellor, motivational speaker, and serves as an examiner for the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
