Biography

I am a holder of a PhD in Language Sciences (French) from Aix Marseille Université, France. Lecturer of French in the Department of Humanities, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Muranga University of Technology. I have published several articles in refereed journals and French books. I have previously worked in various public and private universities, both in Kenya and in France. In addition to teaching French, I have also served an Acting Head of the University Library, as a PhD correction supervisor, University Common units coordinator amongst other duties assigned to me at Departmental, School and Managerial Level. I teach courses such as linguistics, foreign civilization, discourse analysis, epistemology and learning theories, language policies among others. My areas of interests are Sociolinguistics, Linguistic Anthropology, Discourse analysis, Oral Spoken Communication in French.
