Dr. George Nyarigoti Mose is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agriculture at Murang’a University of Technology, Kenya. With extensive experience in international development, rural innovation systems, farming systems research, and agricultural extension, he is dedicated to fostering innovation and sustainability in agriculture. His expertise spans Climate Smart Agriculture, agricultural extension, and promoting gender and development initiatives to enhance rural livelihoods. Dr. Mose holds a Ph.D. in International and Rural Development and an MSc in Tropical Agricultural Development from the University of Reading, UK. He also earned an MSc in Project Management from the University of Portsmouth, UK, and a BSc in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi. His research focuses on advancing agricultural development through technology transfer, ensuring innovative technologies reach smallholder farmers effectively. He specializes in modern extension systems, employing digital tools and participatory approaches to improve advisory services, and innovation systems, fostering collaboration among stakeholders to drive sustainable agricultural advancements. Additionally, he works to enhance climate information services, equipping farmers with actionable data to build resilience and adapt to climate change. Dr. Mose’s research emphasizes climate adaptation, food security, and strengthening agricultural value chains. He has led and contributed to high-impact projects funded by organizations such as the World Bank, SIDA, and ESRC. A prolific scholar, Dr. Mose has published extensively on rural development, agricultural extension, innovation systems, and resilience strategies. He continues to inspire students, researchers, and policymakers through his teaching, research, and unwavering commitment to addressing global agricultural challenges
