Biography

Dr. Grace Njogu is a Finance and Accounting Lecturer at the School of Business and Economics and the acting Director of Quality Assurance and Performance Management at the University. She has over fifteen years of extensive experience as a university don and participated in various academic activities, including teaching and research, curriculum development and review, and student mentorship.

Dr. Njogu earned her PhD in Business Administration (Finance Option) from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in 2019. Her doctoral research in financial inclusion focused on credit access challenges in populations typically under-served by financial institutions. Dr. Njogu holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA-Finance, 2007) and a Bachelor’s degree in Education-Arts (Accounting/ Mathematics -1997), both from the University of Nairobi. She also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) certification and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Kenya.
