Biography

Dr. Jackson Kamiri is a Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology, School of Computing and Information Technology at Murang’a University of Technology. He joined the University in November 2019 as a Graduate Assistant and has progressed through the academic ranks to his current position.

Dr. Kamiri holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology (2026), a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology (2022), and a Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT), First Class Honours (2019), all from Murang’a University of Technology.

His research interests are in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Data Science. Dr. Kamiri has published research in these areas and continues to contribute to research, teaching, and innovation in Computing and Information Technology.
