PETER MWANGI

Peter Mwangi is an Ass. Lecturer in the department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science Murang’a university of Technology. He holds a Master degree of Science in Statistics of Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy degree in Population studies at the University of Nairobi specializing in modeling of fertility estimation. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education science of Egerton University in the year 1994. He later worked as a TSC teacher at Nzeluni Girls between 1995 to 2003 and Kambui Girls between 2009 to 2013. He later worked at Kenya National Examination Council as a Research Officer between 2009 to 2013. He also worked as a Parttime Lecturer in Statistics at Jomo Kenyatta University and Technology between 2005 to 2008, Kenya Methodist University between 2006 to 2009, University of Nairobi between 2008 to 2009 and Mount Kenya University between 2013 to 2017. His research interest areas are in Statistics specializing with Regression Modeling (Wavelets analysis) and Modeling of fertility Estimation.
