Biography

Dr. Gitahi holds a B.Ed. Sc. (MKU), MSc. Biotech. (KU) and PhD. Biotechnology (KU). He has over 7 years of teaching and research. His academic prowess is evidenced by over 15 publications in international peer reviewed journals. He has deep research interests in Medical Biotechnology with strong bias towards phytotherapeutics on pyrexia, nociception, diabetes, oxidative stress, and cancer as well as bioscreening of botanicals for vermin management.
