Dr. Andrew Makori is a Lecturer in Educational Administration and Management in the School of Education at Murang’a University of Technology, Kenya. He is also a researcher in Education Administration, leadership and governance. He has over 20 years work experience in higher education. He holds PhD in Education Administration and Management, MA in Organisation Planning and Management in Education, MA in Educational Administration, and a B Ed Arts degrees. Some of the research projects include, administration, leadership and governance, Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) in Kenya, resource mobilization in secondary schools and youth wellness projects. He has also participated in headship research project in England, UK. He is also involved in community service including sitting on secondary school boards as Board of Management Member (BOM). In his research, conferences participation, publications and training he has acquired practical experience and technical capacity to undertake tasks involving training, designing survey instruments, primary and secondary data collection, developing content, research tools, data collection and analysis and interpretation various research projects including those that are multidisciplinary in nature. He has also has the skills and experience in report writing. Andrew is open to consultation and collaboration to achieve his goals.
